I am Vietnamese, born and raised in San Jose, CA. After a decade of working in corporate finance, I chose to leave and establish Only One Tea Ceremony.
While planning my own wedding, I searched extensively for a company that provided a comprehensive decor package for my Tea Ceremony, but found none. I was already stressed with all of
the other wedding plans and struggled to find all the right decor pieces across the many different vendors out there.
Fortunately, my mother stepped in, managing her full-time job while meticulously curating and preparing all the decorations. She also took charge of setting up on the wedding day, which prevented her from fully enjoying the event.
After my wedding, I thought there must be a better way! Only One Tea Ceremony was started to help others and their loved ones, fully enjoy one of the most important days of their lives.
Consultation and Proposal
We will connect with you to understand your needs and address any questions you might have.
Once you have confirmed the venue and ceremony date, we will provide you with a quote and proposal detailing the product(s)/service(s) we intend to offer.
Booking
When you're ready to book, just send us an email. We will send you our standard contract for signing and require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your date and services.
*The remaining balance and a refundable security deposit of $150 will be due 7 days prior to the event.
*Cancellation will result in the loss of your 50% deposit.
*Date changes are allowed under special circumstances and are subject to availability.
Delivery
We'll check in with you a week before your ceremony to ensure we're aligned on all the arrangements. Our team will be ready to answer any questions you may have before the ceremony. Rest assured, we'll deliver your product as agreed.

What is the booking process?
Fill out our inquiry form to check availability -> Choose your decor package -> Review and sign the contract -> Submit your deposit -> You're booked!
How do I check availability?
Submit the inquiry form with your event details and preferred date.
Do you deliver outside of San Jose?
Yes! Please contact us for a custom delivery quote.
Decor Services & Setup
Is set-up and take-down included?
Yes, full-service delivery, setup, and takedown are included in the package price within San Jose, CA.
When will decor be set up?
We prefer to set up at least one day before your event. Same-day setup is also available if needed.
What is the rental period?
Typically 2–3 days, but we’re flexible to fit your schedule.
Do you offer customizations?
Yes! Customizations to our preset decor packages are available for an additional fee.
Decor Items & Requirements
Do I need to provide candles?
Yes. We recommend traditional candles from Thien Hy Gift Shop (969 McLaughlin Ave, San Jose, CA 95122).
Do you provide gifts for the gift trays?
No, we do not supply gifts or any single-use items.

What size candles fit the holders?
Our candle holders fit candles up to 2" in diameter.
What are the dimensions of the gift trays?
Each tray is 14" wide and 4" deep (not including the lid).
What are the backdrop dimensions?
Our standard backdrop is 8ft × 8ft. Let us know if you need a larger setup.
